Well, since THIS is the Absences/Returns forum, I'll be doing a bit of both..
I'm returning to the forums, yay! \o/ I'mma be active again!
But I'm leaving Mabi.. boo!
Well, since I got my Pally to my target level, my WM to my desired rank, I've been to every town and talked to every NPC, have run every single dungeon and SM (aside from Peaca), got my dream armor and dyed it my dream color... I have nothing to do in Mabi now. I have nothing that I want to get and nothing that I want to do. The only reason I've been playing for the past few months was you guys... No joke, I couldn't believe I could have feelings for people over the internet but I really love being with you guys... Seeing that "Sheep" above my head made me proud. I often talked to random strangers and told them about the fun we have together. lol, I guess Sheep disbanding was the last straw.
I'll be keeping Mabi in my laptop, gonna go see the new towns and NPCs and maybe get a new skill or two every few months, and generally just contributing to the "Hype Lag" we all get when new stuff arrive from Asia XD but I won't be playing anymore.
As some of you may know, this is the second guild named Sheep that I've joined since playing Mabi back in G1.. The other Sheep guild (ran by Emonoodle) was my very first guild. I joined when I wasn't even venturing beyond the borders of Tir. And I believe it is fate that, when I have traveled the whole of Erinn and even reaching other worlds, I'm leaving Mabinogi still a Sheep. From Tir to the World. All the way going Baaa~
I'm gonna go online briefly next Saturday.. I'm gonna make my last long walk from Port Ceann to Bangor to Emain to Dunbarton and finally, to Tir. Yes, I'm walking, not running. I'll be sending notes to all the friends I've made, informing them of my decision. And my last journey ends beside Duncan, where it all began, when he wrote my name in the air for all the owls to know.
My pets.. I know they're just streams of code, data and some pixels, but I've grown so attached to them, somehow, With all the stuff we've been through. Each of them has a distinct personality for me and every one of them has a memory shared with me. They'll be accompanying me on my last journey =)
(The following, you do not have to read, I just need an outlet for my messages to my pets. Yes, it is childish, stupid and totally weird to get attached to nonexistent things, but hey.. If I feel something for them, that makes them real to me)
Vanillacake (Sheep), my very first pet. lol. I bought her with NX won from a poster making contest in MP... So cute and fluffy, even up to this day.. I still laugh at the times when all my fighting pets were knocked out and, in my desperation, you had to face huge ogres, golems, wisps, werewolves and other nasty creatures rofl XD Sorry about that..
Chocopudding (Gray Wolf) and Blackforest (Black Wolf).. My second and third pets respectively.. Always there to protect me. I can't remember a single dungeon that I've done without you watching my back.. It was actually you who got me through G2. I was so afraid to run any dungeon other than Ciar before I got the two of you.. If anyone deserves to get the Spirit of Order, its the two of you.. not me..
Cinnamons (Magic Oak Broom) I've dreamed of a flying mount from the day Iria came out! This broom is a dream come true. NX is so rare for me and I had to do page after page after page of surveys and stuff just to get you... But you are SO WORTH IT.. I had so much fun riding with Pocky and Bacon who both had similar mounts, and even having races with them.. And I somehow loaded you with some kind of AI which allowed you to kill off ogres on your own o.o don't know how that happened.. And I could never forget the millions of times you got me out of trouble, running away at the top of your speed before that angry fomor stabs me with a 1HKO
Creampuffed (Snowy Owl) I got you as a present for myself for my birthday~ I always walked around with you on my head because you matched my clothes perfectly XD So adorable while snoozing off and so funny when getting your sleep disturbed as I suddenly go flying because some random mob hit me lol
and finally, Mallows (Clover Pig) We only had a few weeks to be together but the whole time, you were mostly summoned, I couldn't resist seeing your cute chubbiness and hearing that cute little piglet snort.. I got you instead of a Gnu because you look really awesome.. Sorry if I wasn't able to train you well enough..
